Called to Holiness
The Christian religion transmitted the message of the Beatitudes for humanity. The celebration of the Feast of All Saints reminds us that we are all called to holiness. God, the Father of mankind, is the only one who can canonize his numerous children with a perfect knowledge of their value and merit of their earthly life. He gives each of us the necessary inner strength and means to enter into heavenly happiness.
The happiness of the Gospel is not an illusion, but a reality which we need to believe. By making us celebrate the feast of All Saints, the Church promises happiness and confirms that promise. A multitude of saints will never be canonized on this earth, but nevertheless they are authentic saints. They are all part of the divine Life. To open up to this happiness, there is no other way than that of the Beatitudes, the way of the acceptance of our poverty that allows us to fully open ourselves to divine action.
In the proclamation of the Beatitudes, Jesus Christ discloses the demands of love. This path of holiness of love is manifested by the gentleness and mercy. It requires effort and sacrifices, but is not impossible. God opens this path to everyone on the planet. God makes us able by his grace, to accomplish in the simplest manner, the divine will, by striving ourselves to flourish in the good, to progress continually in charity. We rely on appearances, without understanding sufficiently the action of grace in our lives as sinners. The example of the thief crucified near Jesus, shows us that a wonderful conversion can occur in the secret of the heart at the time of death. It would have been thought that this man, guilty of many crimes, were lost cause. But before the moment of death, the thief has ceased to be a bandit, he became a saint. Better than anyone, Jesus knew the route of the bandit's life, marked by robberies and murders. "Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." (Lk 23, 43)
We can represent ourselves in this heavenly transformation, the triumph of the saving love of Christ operated in the one called now the good bandit. Entered into the vision of eternal happiness, he is among those who are celebrated in the Church during All Saints Day. We know this episode, but there are many that we do not know. When we will be in the other world, we'll be make a happy discovery: saints are more numerous than we can imagine. Heaven is more populated than the earth. Even the pagans are called to enter into the heavenly splendor. That is why All Saints is the feast of many people we've known down here on earth.
All that is mysterious but, this mystery, writes St. Paul, is that "Pagans are associated with the same inheritance, to the same body in sharing the same promise in Jesus Christ, the only Savior." Many will never know Jesus Christ because they are not raised in Christian religions. We cannot accuse them or tell them that they are in bad faith. All receive the grace of Christ through the pagan religions, but also by an inner action of the Holy Spirit. Through the enlightenment given in their lives, they respond to Jesus Christ who acts within them, not leading them to adherence to the Christian faith but inviting them to a moral and spiritual effort.
It is a joy to see that there is in the Church marvels of grace to admire, those given by the Holy Spirit to many persons who enrich in the Christian community with their gifts and their charisma. Our efforts are inspired and sustained by grace. The Holy Spirit makes us love and tends to fulfill more and more deeply in us the holiness of love. We are often impressed with the ravages of evil in the world and in our hearts, but it is not the powers of death that dominate the life of mankind. The victory belongs to Jesus Christ who said: "I have conquered the world."(Jn 16, 33)
Feast of the Death
Through prayer, we can obtain for all those who know and love us on this earth, spiritual and material benefits. It is the same for the dead. We continue to love those who have left us and who rest in peace and friendship of God, by praying for them. God our Father wants to open the door of heaven and his heart to all his dead children. But some of them are awaiting because of their imperfections, before they can see the beatific vision as they enter into the eternal life. According to the doctrine of purgatory, some dead are subjected to a painful period of purification before entering heaven.
Our prayers can obtain an abbreviation of that period and at the same time, a mitigation of the suffering of waiting. If our deceased cannot knock now at the door of heaven, we can do it for them. By our intercession, we can knock loudly for them at the door of happiness. To those who knock with perseverance, God has promised to open the door and to receive them.
We love our dead brothers and sisters, and we suffer when they are gone, the absence is final and painful to endure this emptiness! But the Christian faith teaches us that those who died in their bodies, live in their souls, in their persons. The bottom of their hearts remain forever. Living in love, they love us perfectly. All the dead live around us in a protected invisible space. They are accessible to us and always available. Invisible, they see us in a new way where all is clear. They listen to our hearts and we can reach them at any time to talk with them, simply, and tell them about our situations, our joys, and our sorrows. The only way to be in touch with our dear dead loved ones, is through Jesus Christ because it is He who receives them when they leave this earthly life. In a special manner, our dead become closer to us after their departure. They continue to live a Christian life which began on earth... a life which is destined to develop fully in heaven, in perfect harmony. In other words, the relationship of love that bounds us to them will never cease to deepen.
Our dead have the power to intercede for us and to look after our needs. We too have that power for them: to help those who have left us to enter into the celestial happiness. Through our faith, we can pray for them to help them achieve this joy. The Lord has promised eternal life to those who eat his flesh. Many times at Mass, our dead loved ones took communion and received the body of Christ. The Eucharistic celebration implored their access to heaven. We can request from the Virgin Mary, our mother, help for everyone and ask her to do all she can for the entrance into heaven of our dead loved ones.
Why so much slowness?
Do you know why my kingdom is so slow to spread? You can realize it by experiencing your slowness to pray, your slowness to love, your slowness to give.
For my part, I did everything, loving to the end; I have reserved for all, salvation and life; I have established on earth a kingdom of love accessible to everyone.
But for this kingdom to extend its hold, for it to grow in hearts, I need witnesses who can carry my message everywhere throughout the universe.
It is from them, from these witnesses, that the expansion of faith, hope, and charity is dependent upon. Finding you among them, know, that you are responsible for the progress of the kingdom.
Rather than complaining or accusing others, seek to contribute, more effectively, by being a true witness, to the growth of the Church and her holiness.
Christ the King of the universe
The angel of the Annunciation said to Mary, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus, that is to say, "Savior God. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end." (Lk 1:32) The Messiah-child will establish the kingdom of God on the earth.
At the beginning of public life, Jesus proclaims the kingdom of God that is nearby. But to enter into the kingdom, some spiritual dispositions are required: conversion and faith. "Repent and believe in the Gospel". (Mark 1:15)
After the episode of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish (John 6:1-15), those who were hungry and satiated wanted to sideline Jesus Christ to establish him king, an ideal messianic king who offers free food in abundance.
Since Jesus knew that they were going to come and carry him off to make him king, he withdrew again to the mountain alone to pray. (Jn 6:15) The next day, Jesus makes the commentary on the miracle. He wants to offer the true loave, the one given by his Father, the bread of God that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. This living bread is the flesh of Jesus Christ who, in his glorious state, is filled with the life of the Holy Spirit and will bring eternal life to those who receive it. Thus, the Eucharist is spirit and life, the gift of the kingdom, an inner kingdom that wants to seize the human heart in order to develop the divine life.
Jesus Christ is king; its sovereignty is interior and it remains hidden to transform human thoughts and behaviors. Christ reigns in the hearts, in the thoughts and in the will of those who welcome his message and adhere to the truth. It is a hidden kingdom of truth and love where justice and sharing solidarity are guaranteed, a kingdom of light, peace and purity of consciousness. "Your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Col 3: 3) said St. Paul to Christians. Our lives are hidden with Christ as Himself is hidden deep within us in the Father.
So, Jesus Christ is king in the truth. He is not afraid to spread the truth. He is what he says: the truth of joyous love. He came into the world to testify to the truth. In the same way, before Pilate, Jesus affirms his quality of Messiah and Son of God: "My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my people would have fought so that I would not be delivered to the Jews. In the same way, by proclaiming the truth to the governor, Jesus bears the absolute witness of his identity.
In celebrating the feast of Christ the King, the Church invites us to recognize Jesus Christ as the King of the universe and King in our lives, to believe in the hold that Jesus Christ exerts more and more on every human destiny. Today in the Church, many Christians choose to live as witnesses. We all have a burning thirst for truth, a thirst for happiness, one that has driven the good thief to surrender to the hands of Jesus: "Remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” (Lk 23:42-43) This evangelical episode proves to us that the Lord Jesus Christ offers to all men without restriction or discrimination the possibility of receiving salvation and holiness. All those who appear far removed from the evangelical revelation also receive the grace of Christ who "touches the depths of the person and tends to transform them". Thus, every man, even the worst of criminals, can completely change, even at the last moment of life, and bear witness that Jesus is king of the universe and of our life.
TIME OF HOPE
Advent liturgically is regarded as a time of penance and conversion. It is a time of hope, which the Church looks toward the mystery of the coming of the Savior. It is also a time for appreciating and reliving the ultimate Christmas event, where the mystery of the Son of God became a little child. Our hope cannot be disappointed; it constantly needs to be brought to the spiritual goods and the establishment of a kingdom of justice and love.
The Advent has the sweet taste of Christmas. Incarnated God with a child's face, appears as the source of our faith, our hope and our love. Jesus, whose name means "God saves", is the only Savior who gives to all men, salvation because he is God and man at the same time. Everyone's heart must open freely to the Savior of the world to receive all the spiritual richness he brings to mankind.
Thus, to prepare to celebrate the coming of Christ, we need to turn away from anything that would prevent us to host him. This is to strengthen our faith and hope in Jesus Christ, preparing our hearts, converting ourselves, turning towards him. The Son of Man came "to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mk 10: 45), to release by his sacrifice, the whole of humanity.
The name of "Mary" means "beloved of God." Mary is the only human being to be born a saint. The Angel of the annunciation gives her another name. He calls her "Full of grace" because God's grace made her perfect, and completely happy. It is for us that Mary has received this unique privilege. Certainly, there are some women in the Old Testament who prefigured the grace of the Immaculate Conception of Mary: Sarah, Abraham's wife, Mary, Moses' sister, Judith, Esther, and Suzanne. But all these women, although radiant were flawed, they each had their own weaknesses. Mary, meanwhile, is immaculate and full of grace. God Himself wanted this perfection; in fact, from conception, Mary was preserved from sin. We Christians, are born with the stain of original sin which is erased by baptism. But if we continue to sin because of our weaknesses, it is because even after the gift of divine grace, we retain a mark of sin, that makes us succumb to temptation.
In fact, we cannot completely resemble the Virgin Mary. God has hidden in her the incomparable splendor for the world: a beauty that exceeds the aspirations and human estimates. This beauty has remained intact in Mary, from conception until her last breath.
Our joy is to know that this Immaculate privilege was granted to a woman who became our mother, in the order of grace. We are all her children; Mary is not far from us. She wants us to receive the fullness of grace, which was given to her. The Father made Mary the perfect woman to be a perfect mother. God's goodness comes to us because we are also loved by God. Mary is full of the plentitude of the Holy Spirit, this secret invasion of light, love and joy.

May you hear from the tabernacle, the cry I uttered from the cross, "I am thirsty!"
Living endlessly among men, would quench the thirst that would no longer leave me.
It is the cry of my open heart, which shed its last drops of blood, and which aspires to spread more of their redemptive benefits on humanity.
I am thirsty with an insatiable thirst for each and for all souls.
I am thirsty for their love, I would like to attract them all to me.
I am thirsty for them, not for my own satisfaction, but because I want to make them happy, and that they may come to know that they can only find happiness by attaching themselves to me.
I will be thirsty if they have not given me everything, for my love is so strong and so total that it demands everything.
Do not stifle my cry, do not forget my constantly repeated call; come therefore, and quench my thirst!
May my thirst never meet refusal or evasion from you; may it make your generosity spring up like a fountain that soothes it!
May I remind you of my thirst, my eucharistic presence that invites you to bring other souls to me, so that they too may give themselves up to my love!
This is my body, which is given for you, full of life to feed you.
This is my blood shed for you all, whose ardor wants to intoxicate you.
Here is my heart offered to all with the love I gave, that is spread in profusion in the universe that was saved.
Here is my unique heart that renews the immense sacrifice, which associates you with its offering to unite you with its victory.
Here is my heart that comes to you, to enter in yours to heal it, to transform it, to sanctify it, and to blossom it.
I do not chain you, I do not tie you, instead, I attract you to me. I want to enter into your heart with the depth of my burning heart, filled with fire, which in heaven makes God alive and is kindled on earth to set humanity on fire.
Here is my heart which is waiting for you in its presence open to everyone, which attracts you in its silence and invites you to worship it.
The Eucharist is at the very center of our lives; such was the teaching of Jesus.
When commenting on the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves Jesus told His apostles that He Himself is the Living Bread that came down from heaven. He called on the twelve for an act of faith and it was Peter who answered in the name of all: 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of everlasting life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God' (John 6:69).
Christian faith is faith in the Eucharistic Christ.

This is how he is called on the place named Zola-Tsi Aku. He is even boasted for his courage. To all our questions, he answers in jargon of this lingala that the street teaches to its boarder. The street became his home, this is where his parents abandoned him for ''witchcraft'' diagnosed by a Pastor.
He does not know his age. But some adults claim to know him (in this street) since six years.
He does not have a boss. Rather, anyone can be his boss. He does not sell. All the tests done for this purpose been disappointing. It is then used for handling, the relay, the small races, like this basin of babouches he is going to drop off at a nearby display.
